Whatashort celebrates its first annual film festival in India representing diversity, change in society, innovation and creative achievement in filmmaking. Its main goal is to encourage and promote filmmakers across the globe and delivering the Best short films experience to anyone who is a fan of cinema.


Whatashort is happy to announce its another awesome film festival which is purely dedicated to women. It is one of a kind film festival showcasing films made by women and women-centric films around the globe. It encourages national and international, established and emerging artists to come up with either women filmmakers or women-centric films.

WIIFF16 wants to showcase women on and off the camera to highlight their talent whether before or behind the camera.

With only 2-3 out of 900 filmmakers in India, and 7% of filmmakers in world. This festival has been designed to promote women in film industry and to celebrate women’s accomplishments.


With a mission to stimulate, promote and enlighten, the Whatashort Independent International Film Festival 2017 is in its 3rd year of celebrating short films.

Every script has a message to convey, every camera has a story to capture and every short film has a story to captivate. If you have the imagination, a message to narrate through your story and the dream to transform your vision into reality then pick up the camera and capture your vision, transform your imagination into the reel.

Prism Film & Photography Festival 2016

The Dept. of Communication Studies of Jagannath International Management School, Vasant Kunj, in collaboration with Iran Cultural House is organizing its 12th Film & Photography festival ‘Prism’ on 11th March’16. During the festival, classic and prize winning films from Iran will also be screened.
Every year the Department of Communication Studies, JIMS Vasant Kunj organizes Prism, an inter college film & photography festival, to provide a common platform to the youth of today to project the excellence of the film art; showcase their films; interact with the experts and express themselves. This year around 40 colleges from Delhi /NCR will be participating in this one day Film & Photography Festival.
